Improvisation Course

The object of this academy is to bring musicians and dancers together in a creative way, and to work on an artistic symbiosis which will be presented in a concluding performance. This is all about a holistic approach, which is not subject to the usual norms of particular styles. It seems appropriate, especially at the current time, to give some spiritual-artistic impulses. The main emphasis will be on creativity, fantasy, spontaneity and the development of concious perceptions and aesthetics. These will be worked upon using various improvisation techniques and structures.
Times / Conditions:
4 day course, 6 hours per day (10:00-13:00 and 15:00-18.00) On the 5th day, rehearsal and concluding performance** at the Forum of the Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik Deutschland in Bonn.
Participants: maximum 12 per group
Course Fee*: 250 Euros, including a non-refundable registration fee of 50 Euros. Participants are responsible for organising and paying for their own board and lodging.

Preconditions and Remarks:
Participants may be musicians/dancers who are either students, past students or professionals.
They should have a good mastery of their instrument / voice / body / knowledge of various dance techniques.
Experience with improvisation is welcome, but not absolutely necessary.
Applications will be processed in the order in which they are received. Emilia Sintoni‘s classes will be held in English.
Participants agree to appear punctually to all classes.
